Standard wiring for 2 pickups guitars

Hollow bodies

Pictures are actually from a H74-3 Barclay, a Rocket cousin, but these are the same for any 2 pickups Rocket (H54, H56) or H74 "neo-cutaway", H73 "Roy Smeck", H70, H71, H671 "Meteor", etc.. It also remains the same schematic and values for the solid bodied Silhouette or Bobkat 2 pickups models (H15, H16, H17, H19, S1478...). Check this other page for more photos

Classic arrangement for two pickups, with the pickup hot wire connected to the middle of the vol pot, for independent volume control. Vol pot is 1 Meg and tone pot 250 K, this was checked for "Golden Tone" pickups as well as later "Mustaches".
(3 pickups H59 Rocket also use 1 Meg volume pots and 250 K tone pots).

Note below : the bridge pickup has a grey wire and the neck pickup has a black wire. Same was seen on other (but not all) Harmony guitars. Usually these pickups read more or less same impedance, so I have no idea if pickups were really different, or if it was just a visual help to mount the right one at the right place on the guitar (in regards to vol and tone pots, and perhaps the length of wire).

Some models, below an Airline 8448, may have a different harness with only one main branch. Schematic stay the same.
