H1141 - Stella
Acoustic flatop - Brown, then Red shaded
Production year(s) : 1947-1966 (other years possible, not verified)
Other brands : H1141 Stella was also sold as Alden 9961 | Holiday AL9241 | Silvertone 1210 | Silvertone 1211
It looks like it replaced the very similar H1105 Stella. Nickeled tailpiece, floating bridge - Body shape changed from the rounded shape to the later "grand concert" shape in 1957. A "warm red" shaded finish replaced the older brown shaded in 1959. Painted on fret markers, snowflake on early models, then rectangles from 1959. Was then replaced in 1967 by the H941 with a pin type bridge.

I have a model 1141 in a brown sunburst finish grand concert body & stamped inside with the model #1141 and f-57-t. It has a old style stella(thicker letters & w/out star) logo on headstock and single painted line on soundhole and top edge. - Jammin A blues - 2009-01-18
The f-57-t translates to fall 1957 for production. the last 't' relates to the worker line. - MaddMikes - 2009-03-30
I have an H1141 I got 30 years ago from Goodwill for $30.00us. It got the top torqued out by a roommates kid band sat for 18 yrs. Luthier in town repaired it and added a couple of strategic supports and put in a Fischmann Humbucker. D tuning and this baby is a total hill country holla. It is NOT for sale! Kicks ass thru a marshall - huh-muh-nee - 2009-07-05

I have an H1141 in very good condition with the red finish and snowflake fret markings and it sounds and plays incredibly well. I picked it up at a Goodwill for $20 and I put another $40 & some elbow grease into it replacing the bridge & nut. I can't describe how incredibly good the sound is on this old guitar! I have a pricey Yamaha acoustic that this old Stella puts to shame! Wouldn't ever want to get rid of it. - haymaker - 2010-03-07
just picked up an old stella stamped on the inside is 4926 H1141 it is sunburst with a wooden tailpiece which I don't think it orig. anyone have an idea of when this guitar was made? with some setup work this little guitar will be pretty nice. Any info on this is much appreciated - Borunda - 2010-05-17
I have the Holiday brand of this model in red burst. The inside stamp reads 9207H1141. Still can't find a H1141 model with the Holiday brand on the headstock. And ive looked everywhere online. I got it for cheap and it sounds beautiful. - slow foot - 2010-08-03
