Sovereign genuine amplifying guitar, with internal resonator-diaphragm, licensed under National-Dobro patents - No. 1230 Model B. The large grand concert size. Its clear, powerful tones, in all registers, make this the outstanding instrument for professional solo playing, in orchestra work, or for broadcasting. The back is gracefully arched, and cleverly grained to resemble matched curly maple in a dark reddish brown mahogany color--very highly polished. The top and back edges are trimmed with white celluloid the large nickel-plated resonator cover is most attractively designed. Large 10" resonator-diaphraqm. Wide headpiece, bone nut, 14-fret clear neck, ovalled ebonized fingerboard with pearl inlaid position dots. Each : $30.00 Verified production year(s) : 1940
