I love my H48, anyone who has played a harmony with the gold foil dearmonds knows what I am talking about. The multipurpose switch really does give you some different sounding tones. Dearmonds have their own tone unlike a single coil or humbucker.Get one while they are still somewhat reasonably priced. - Pete - 2009-06-22
Bought mine in the 60's second hand...what a sound...brilliant. It looked the same shape as a Gibson Les Paul...so last year I dug it out and fitted two Gibson Les Paul humbucker pick-ups on it, together with the Gibson tone/ volume contols and 3 way toggle switch. It is now a Harmony / Gibson hibrid...amazing sound!! - superchet - 2010-03-06

I bought this guitar new in 1966. It was my first electric guitar and I loved it. The Harmony served me well in rock bands until I bought a 1962 sunburst Strat in 1971. My best friend, John bought the Harmony and used it to play the blues until he passed away in 1984. Sometime after that the Harmony disappeared. I wake up nights wishing I had it back. And wondering if John came back for it! - Keith - 2014-09-24
I have an H48 Stratotone that belonged to my mother. She bought if from a guy in 1963 that wanted to sell it because he had bought a Fender Strat. About 25 years ago he asked me if she would sell it back to him. Fortunately she said NO! It is a beautiful guitar, and plays great. The fingerboard is silky smooth and it has a great tone played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb. - JD - 2015-01-19
Anyone able to advise on the different logos on the headstock..? Im told the early years have the line from the "Stratotone" down to the symbol. Later years did not.. - LEW SKINNER - 2015-09-14
