H50 - Spanish Electric Guitar
Electric Archtop - Sunburst 1 pickup - "Grand Auditorium" size - One of the first Harmony electrics - Solid spruce top, solid maple body, 3 ply w/b/w heavy binding on body. Kluson tuners are rarely seen on Harmony guitars, but it seems many H50 were equiped with Kluson tuners from origin. Early models (pre-50) had f-holes in one part.

My grandfather has a H-50. He pick it up in California in 1942. It may be even older, thats just when he bought it... - Joni - 2007-06-16
I have an H50. I recently acquired it as a gift from a collector. The electronics don't seem to work but I haven't done any troubleshooting on it yet. I'm just enjoying the rich acoustic sound with the 'trons flowing. - Don&Sue 2 - 2007-11-20
My wife, Sue, and I just "finally" came into posession of her Dad's "original owner" H-50. This beauty had been "stored" in a closet at her old homeplace by her mother since her dad's death in 1973! Never taken out, tuned up, nor touched in all those years ..until last week, when "Mom" decided to let it and another old classic, a 1954 Danelectro Electric, come stay with us.. Already cleaned, re-strung (with a vintage set of Black Diamonds), tuned, and started pickin' the H-50.. Ain't nothin' can compare in today's market!
