I own a Harmony H60 Meteor, double cutaway acoustic/electric. It's styled after a Gibson ES335. This was my first electric, I've had it since my early teens. Great guitar. Still plays well, with some minor upgrades required. I wonder why Harmony made such a straight neck, tough to switch back and forth from other guitars with a more tapered neck. My fingers keep slipping off the fretboard on higher notes :) Still a beauty though. A classic for sure. - Karto - 2007-10-08
Wow, bought this guitar last summer at Emerald City Guitars, Seattle, and it just sounds DIVINE. Try it on a Fender Twin Red Knob, it might not be in the right timeframe, but oh....the sound. - Bill - 2007-10-24
I bought an H60 Meteor new in the 60s and still have it and love it. - Bill - 2008-11-18
My beloved H60 #7803 F-67 which I assume means made in 1967, must be one of the early models. I'd love to hear from other Harmony Meteor owners and compare notes! - Trev - 2008-12-02
Luckily found an old left handed H60 Meteor. Looks like it dates to '68. Sounds and plays great! - Don - 2009-01-02
I have a H60 made in the fall of 1970. Incredible clean tone. Real hard to keep my daughter from taking it away from me. All original except tuners. Even has the plastic strap buttons still on it.I don't play it as much as I used to. But it gets pulled out and shown off every now and then. Only way I'll part with it is if my daughter takes it. - Jay - 2010-01-07
Just bought 7803H60 F-67 in Foley, AL. Harmony Meteor. Cool guitar. warm sound. I'm happy. Not the original bridge. I'm happy. - vee sonnets - 2010-02-24
I got this guitar for free in the early 90s and have been in love with it since. It is quirky but THE SOUND!!! People still cannot believe the tonal range this guitar produces. I am still on the hunt for another one. p.s. I have tried many a Gibson but not one comes close to the H60, save the Johnny A. signature double cutaway.
