I have a Broadway with the manu. date of F44.
Gruhn said they didn't manu. Broadway's until the beginning of the '50's. So much for his "expertise".

Some Broadway models definitely are in the 1940 catlog. I had some other evidence of Gruhn expertise about Harmony guitars. He expertised a Kay (small solid body) guitar as a Harmony (Stratotone).
