Biltmore was an "exclusive trade name" of Targ & Dinner, a Chicago musical instruments distributor (ca 1930 - 1950)

Early model have single fret markers at 3,5,7,9,12, with a star at 3rd fret. Later models have block markers.
In 1950 a different Diana model is available, in natural finish, with spruce top and mahogany body. |

The model seen in 1950 Targ & Dinner catalog has block inlays on fretboard. It looks like Kay alternatively made some "Biltmore Herald" in some years, similar but different models (cream headstock). |
