I own this guitar purchased in 2007. I found it online in Comox,British Columbia. This guitar has to be one of the nicest sounding archtops Ive ever heard. It plays very well with low action and a straight as a board neck. This is definite quality. It has become the showpiece of my collection. The cream of all harmonies. I have traced the roots of guitar and It actually went to war with a regiment and came back to comox air force base to be put away in a closet for many years. I am very fortunate to own this Jewel. Maybe Ill donate it to the future harmony museum. Hmm. Mike - mike - 2009-08-20

I have the exact same guitar except it's a Bruno Royal Artist S. N. 2869H1301. All the features of the Harmony H1301 Clipper are the same except for the headstock inlay. The Royal Artist that I have has an artist pallette in the design. The one I have has metal tuning knobs and look to be the original open gear type. Everything else appears to be original except the bridge which is height adjustable and compensated which I don't believe would have been found on a wartime era guitar. The guitar tunes and plays well. A great friend gave this guitar to me. - vaughn - 2017-06-11
