when I saw this guitar it really brought back memories..my first guitar was a patrician [blond] that my dad bought for me from his friend in a pawn shop..it was in rough condition when I got it..I was about 11 or 12 years old..it started my love affair with guitars..and I've been playing ever since..I'm 59 yrs old now... - Matthew - 2009-04-29
I'm a huge Harmony fan. This is my second which to my delight I found laying by the garbage in my back lane. I reglued the neck to the body, built a new bridge, gave it a good cleaning, and new strings. The sound is so sweet, not fret out of place, harmonics are where they should be and the action is outstanding. Amazing to think it was built in 1940! - GEO - 2010-08-04
My 1450 is Stamped 1941. - James - 2014-05-09
Just got mine back from shop. A basket case with spruce top, maple back and sides, bad cracks top and bottom. Oh, and the neck was wiggling in the pocket. Now, she's back and, to my eyes, a beautiful monster from 75 years ago. Number is 837H1450 and I can't make out any other stamp
