I've owned and long been a fan of U.S. solid wood Harmony classicals. This later version, the H177, (ca.1970) came out when the company attempted to stay competitive by drastically boosting it's quality and as a result is the nicest looking one they ever made, with a real rosette, top notch gloss finish, rosewood headstock veneer, etc. It very much rivals the Martin 00-18C it's so similar to at a fraction of the cost. I still own one and love to play it. The neck is kind of fat though.
