Oh my, I love these. I have had mine since 1980. I bought it at a goodwill sale for $20.
Mine has a high action and a perfectly flat neck, go figure. I just can't get the saddle low enough to comforably pay in standard tuning.
So I tune mine in open G or dropped D and bottle neck a lot with it. Really has a nice full and balanced tone. I've said it before, these are future classics in my humble opinion.
I see them sell for 100-200, especially in So cal where they seem to have a little following. The tops are quite nice on these too.
BTW: back in the late 70's wew were shaving the braces on these and lightening them up a bit. Worked wonders eeven with the lader brace.
I hooked up an old d'armond soundhole pick-up recently: wow, suddenly I was back at a blues from the south 1960's folk festival!
