Just bought one...a fixer-uper set a new bridge on it sanded it down sounds amazing. Good action good intonation, nice chunky neck Boxy sound. A cowboys lost guitar. - Patton Pete - 2010-01-30
If you come across this model in good working condition KEEP IT... I've had several offers for cash. Its dark sunburst finish draws the eye like a magnet. I recently bought a non-invasive fishman pickup, that will fit the small peg hole in the back. Plug it in and watch the reaction it gets from the audience. + the ladies love its "cute" parlor look. H918 model I own has the best intonation up and down.. out of any of my Stella models, considering its neck radius is like a baseball bat. A nice contrast against a Martin. - KarlJ - 2014-04-01
Got one just like it except the bridge is all wood. In tune and playable all the way up the neck. Good volume for a small guitar with a nice woody resonance, lots of fun to play. - Ren Kay - 2019-02-17
I found one of these on the side of the road, lots of water damage, but I am trying to fix it up as best I can. So glad for this page and these photos, which helped me identify it by the wooden tailpiece. THANK YOU! - buddy - 2019-06-12
