My Aunt has one of these, she bought it new here in New Zealand when she was 16 in 1940. It's still in good shape, original except for some holes where a pickup and output jack have been at some point in it's life. Set up with aluminium nut for slide, such a cool sounding guitar!

My grandfather passed one of these on to me in amazing condition, still has the strings he bought it with on it. Very cool guitar, love playing it. He included sheet music he included sent to him from the Hawaii Club in Australia as a correspondance course on playing slide guitar. It's like a little time capsual, date stamped 1939.

My grandmother taught me and my cousin on one of these in the 1960s. When she passed away, one of our relatives sold it. We would give anything to have one again, it would bring her back to us.
