My bass is in mint condition and cost me 385$!!! Oh boy does it sound good! Great Thump!! Sounds best with the proper short scale round wound heavy gauge strings. (0.050 to 0.105) Pickups are just great, love the neck, well balanced. Looks killer! Having a larger headstock would probably require a permit!! - GZboat - 2011-08-20
Just got a H426 and I love it. So much fun to play. Feels an awful lot like my 1st bass, an H22/1, but just a bit heavier. Really big headstock, but it seems to make the instrument balance very nicely. - RockandRoll! - 2019-11-16
My friend picked one of these up at a garage sale in California for just $100. All original hardware except the bridge cover is missing. All the electronics are in perfect working order. Natural finish with a rosewood fingerboard. Definitely a nice piece of gear that's fun to take to gigs!
