Oh my, I love these. I have had mine since 1980. I bought it at a goodwill sale for $20.
Mine has a high action and a perfectly flat neck, go figure. I just can't get the saddle low enough to comforably pay in standard tuning.
So I tune mine in open G or dropped D and bottle neck a lot with it. Really has a nice full and balanced tone. I've said it before, these are future classics in my humble opinion.
I see them sell for 100-200, especially in So cal where they seem to have a little following. The tops are quite nice on these too.
BTW: back in the late 70's wew were shaving the braces on these and lightening them up a bit. Worked wonders eeven with the lader brace.
I hooked up an old d'armond soundhole pick-up recently: wow, suddenly I was back at a blues from the south 1960's folk festival!

I bought one of these for 80.00 bucks at a local swap meet a few weeks ago. changed the nut, changed the saddle, new stings my all time favorite guitar now.

My mother had one of these in the 40's. Grew up listening to her chording. Had the Sovereign on the neck.
.The sound on this is great. Perfect shape. She played in some bands that played in and around iowa and south dakota during the 30's and40's.

I have a sweet little 6303, bought from a pawn shop in 1992 in Westminster CA. sounds sweet with decent action !

I just purchased one at a local thrift store. A few months back I'd purchased an 'Airline' branded Harmony at a yard sale for $6. After $200 worth of neck-re-set, crack and finish repair, new strings, and a proper set-up, that guitar is now wonderful. It's what prompted me to make the $50 purchase for this instrument. It too will need a neck-re-set, as well as also having some body cracks repaired and an overall 'quality' set-up. But, I've no doubt that when done it will sound wonderful as well. I'm looking forward to getting it back from the shop!

Regarding years of production, I just saw an H6303 on Reverb.com. The stamp inside clearly says F-73-FS and Made in USA. I think that means it was made in 1973.
