One was given to me after a friend's father passed away, it was tucked back in a corner of the basement. It hadn't been played in a long time and needed some serious cleaning. The guitar is in excellent shape and it sounds like a dream. I have many guitars and I will tell you this, it sounds better than any of my Taylors, it's a great guitar. - Geoff Hogg - 2009-07-24
Purchased mine in 1972 an H6382. A beautiful guitar to play especially slide with a glass bottleneck. Love playing John Fahey/Leo Kottke style - tone is perfect and as Mike commented, it does sound better than a Taylor. Recently tried a few Martins but this 37 year old Regal sounds better. Just fitted a Fishman Rare Earth Humbucker pickup and feeding through a Marshall AS50D - absolute heaven. - BAB - 2020-08-16
Bought mine in 72 on sale with a case for $129.99 and it was another one that Harmony got right in my opinion. I have a Sovereign, a Patrician archtop and an H168. All of them are in great shape and have held up over the years. All except the Sovereign are Folk or concert size and each has its own sound. I really like the sound of the H168 and it plays big. - Dougie Harrison - 2024-07-26
I bought my H6382 in Glasgow, Jan 1973. It's a beautiful little guitar (my wife has a slightly older Sovereign!) It's never needed much attention, except for new tuners a few years ago. Action as good as the day I got it. Sounds great with a Fishman pickup.
