I have an H64, It playes wonderfull. The keys are not original; but I have them, It's really cool!My Mom bought it in 1987 as a Christmas gift for 35$. I have more exspensive guitar's, but this one is my favorite! It play's so smooth.

My dad gave me this guitar as my first electric, mine is 1968 model. It is really a nice guitar, it sounds great, and plays good too. Mine hasn't been played on hardly at all.

I have this model with the Bigsby tremolo, and it has the most wonderfully balanced sound I've heard in any guitar. Very smooth sounding.
I've played so many guitars in my lifetime, and I have to say this knocks out any 335 style guitar I've ever seen!

I bought one a few months back and it is becoming one of my favourite guitars. I also play a Gretsch and a Ric.
The pickups just sound perfect for that old school sound I seem to be wanting to play. The guitar has a feeling and a sound that is infectious.
Is it any good, I don't know and I don't care. It feels great in your hands. It sounds perfect when I play (mellow, microphonic, awesome with distortion, very Black Keys at times) and all my friends that play can't put it down.
So yes its a good guitar.
40 years later and it hold up really well. Of course you do spend your life putting it back in tune.
One thing, I did have to have the nut shimmed and re-cut, as well as grounding the pups so they hum less. Seemed to work.
If you see one pick it up.

Great guitar! bought one on ebay a couple months back. Very affordable with cool vintage vibe. super smooth action and the pickups sound great. woes out of tune because of the bigsby, but totally worth it!

I have a Harmony H64 and the stamp inside says S66. I noticed the production years on here say from 1967. Is my guitar just a pre-model? I was given this guitar by a roomate and looks to be in perfect condition.

Just got one from a friend in almost new condition (he never played it). Really nice looking and playing guitar. Mine was made in '67. Had to replace one screw in the pick guard but other than that, perfect condition.

Nice guitar. Buddy Guy played a Harmony. Need to keep bridge low or the action "fights" you.
Same story Dad gave to me age 13. Now Daughter has it after wiring to one pickup loose. Had problems with machine heads knobs falling off. Saw one on Ebay for $1500. Will consider refurbishing to original condition. Gibson was smart to copy this design for their 68 and later ES330 models - minus the Bigsby T Bar. Full Hollow body gives warmer tones.
