I,VE GOT THIS EXACT MODEL H941 JUST LIKE IN THE
PHOTOS SUNBUSRT FINISH, WHITE PICKGUARD,ROSETTE
AROUND SOUND HOLE AND I GOT MINE FOR FIFTY BUCKS.
THERE WERE NO STRINGS ON IT THEN BUT ONCE I GOT HER HOME AND STRINGED MAN OH MAN DO I LOVE THIS GUITAR IT HAD HIGH ACTION ORIGINALLY BUT I THOUGHT
IT WAS OK EVEN THEN BUT I RECENTLY HAD IT SET UP AT R.T.GUITARS 147TH &CICERO (REE TEETER )THAT,S HIS REAL NAME IS THE LUTHIER AND OWNER THERE AND NOW SHE,S EVEN

Picked it up in the 80's for $35. Just been around the house all the kids plunking on it. Put some new strings on it and sounds a lot better than the cheap models you get at target. I recently picked up a Stella,6506H941. I believe that's the model and serial number. It has the natural finish with a black pick guard, as pictured. I am happy I found this site because it answered my questions as to what it is and when it was made. It needs some fine tuning to make it easier to play. The action is high and the strings too heavy. A customer gave me my H941, I build acoustic guitars and do repair and restoration. The customer found it for 5 bucks in antique shop in really bad shape. I worked on it in between building my guitars (when i felt like working on something else) It took about 6 months but I brought it back to fine playing condition. I glued many cracks and steamed the neck off and reset it, I did a set up and wow! it really has a great sound and it plays like butter. There was an auction lot sticker on the upper bout and a magic marker ( as is $10.00) I left them on the guitar. I will enjoy this guitar for some time to come(: - Don - 2019-09-27
I just picked up a H941 at goodwill for $6.09 The guitar has a blonde front and is in very good shape probably a 7 on 1-10 scale I think it lived in someone's closet for the last 50 years.
It plays very well and the action is very finger friendly I've been playing for 45 years on many guitars and this plays equally and as well as a lot of higher end instruments I have played

I just got a natural finished 1967 h941. It had a neck reset done by the fella I purchased it from. The sounds is much bassier than I thought it would be. I think these have a great tone and I love the grain of the birch. The neck and fingerboard feel like the flimsiest part of the guitar, however the neck and fingerboard feel really good when I play. These all birch guitars really sound great.
