WOW! I've been looking for this guitar on the Internet for some time. I picked it up twenty years ago, but never knew its history. Mine's a Vibratone, with the gold letters VIBRATONE stamped along the front between the tuning pegs. Inside, I see the numbers "1553 972." Thanks for letting me know a little history behind this guitar.
