H1221 model number was used on the blue "Catalina", then later (seventies ?) on a small flatop, Stella-like but wearing only "Harmony" on the headstock

I just bought what I think is a H1221. It is the same size as my 60s Stella, but has a natural spruce top, mohogany stained sides, tortoise bat-wing pickguard, and the chrome Stella-like tailpiece. There is no paper label on the inside. When you look through the soundhole there is a very smal 412 stamp. When you look on the inside up toward the neck there is a 7677H1221 stamp. - Robby - 2009-10-14

After 10 years of letting it sit and collect dust in a closet, I pulled this out to learn to play. I noticed the label in the sound hole and looked it up.

We got this guitar a while back, some polish and new strings and wow what a period sound...and stays in tune. Its a classic. In recording it can sound almost like a Herman's Hermits type of uke. But the resonance of the bass string in the little body is really unique. In D tuning it works beautifully too. Nice little tool in the shed, really cool sound. - Rocco - 2017-11-19

Bought for $50.00 twenty years ago. Got a free neck re-set from my music stores repair guy and re-glued a cracked brace. I added a bigger floating saddle with bone and polished the lacquer off the fret board. She has a unique sound and has been to Alaska, Seattle, Tampa, and sailing the Bahamas.
