I have a Roy Smeck Artiste from 1942 but the pick-guard is white plastic, not clear. I also replaced the tuners some years ago but still have the old ones (a couple of them need buttons replaced). Since it retailed for 32.50 in the 40's what would it be worth now? It was well made and still sounds good and loud for an archtop.
