I found a 1937 H943 in amazingly good condition at a local thrift store. It had one little dust bunny inside and old flat
wound strings that could be original,(they are not, this guitar was well-played and then seemingly put away for a half century.] Beautiful tone, neck perfect, plays wonderfully, and was in tune when I picked it up, even though the tuning machines were initially frozen until I applied a pinch of graphite. Looks great also!
