I have a 1250 Roy smeck with the harmometal trim bought it for 5 bucks off an old lady in Winnipeg who had it hanging on the wall and used it for her art classes.Needs the bridge glued back on,missing the nut,and fret inlay needs glue.I'll put it together and send an update about how it plays. - spikey - 2007-11-27
I just bought a Roy Smeck H8335 at an auction for $60. It has white plastic binding, and needs a neck reset, some gluing on the back, and someone tried to screw the bridge back into place. I am currently trying to bring it back into playing condition. - chas austin - 2010-10-30

I have one that my dad played when he was a young man. He was in the military and we had kitchen parties and he always had this guitar in his hands. - Jim - 2013-05-16
Just bought 2 of these babies. Both need neck resets and bridge work. The sound is really KOOOOOOOL.Can't wait to string them up again. Very little info available for this model. Any info you have would be great.Ebony board and bridge by Harmony. Very rare!!!! - Kev - 2017-01-28
Just bought one of these from a music store closing sale - $20. It was a wall hanger, it has the metal binding reminiscent of a mid-century kitchen table. Light for the size, it has some minor issues but should be a fun project - bobby seaman - 2017-04-07
My copy has differently shaped scratch plate to all the models shown but looks the same original white plastic material. Also has no serial number inside Just had a neck reset some modifications new bridge pins saddle, nut height shaved down and an unsightly screw securing the neck removed and hole filled and set up so the action is now perfect.Guitar sounds and looks great no other Harmony is shaped like a Jamboree a great addition to my Harmony collection - Al Simon - 2020-03-24
Anyone looking to sell one, or knows someone who'd like to. Thanks. alsimon@comcast.net
