  I have got a slotted head version with a clear date stamp of S37 ie 1937. And what a fine guitar she is loud and mellow!

  Just got my H1000, in realy fine condition. Factory case is as new. Found in an antique shop. Just had to change strings and clean it up - hey presto, lovely sound and lovely to play. Really glad to be able to verify its identity and 1938 year of manufacture, what it's made of etc. Thanks heaps

  I have one which reads "F 32". It has a black pickguard, slotted headstock and a "V" shaped neck. It is strung with 3 wound strings (E/A/D) and 3 nylon strings (G/B/E). It also has it's OHSC, which looks like "H1000_1938_08.jpg". I'm new to Harmony database... could I have a 1932 Harmony guitar?! Sweet!!

  I have several small Harmony guitars from the '30's and '40's and in every case those with the pin bridge sound better than those with the tail piece. Does anyone else find the same or is it my imagination??

  To me,the pin back also sounds better.Amazing how different they sound,Long lasting accoustic sound love it.Found this guitar in a Salvation Army bin!!!

  Depends on what your playing,I like trap bridge Stellas way better n fixed bridges for bottle neck.

  It appears I have a H1000 body, a V shaped neck/headstock from a 1000B, tailpiece is from 1001TL Idento and inside a red little circle "S-36". I love it. What wonderful info you provided here. Thank u

  I have just picked up a standard size Harmony from a yardsale for 40.00. The number on the inside starts with H0something I don't have it with me. I noticed none of these numbers on this site start with H0 all that's here is H1. Any comments would be appreciated.
