i am completing a total restroraration of one of these fine insturments . it was atotal basket case , however it was my grandfathers , purchased with documentation in april 1929. i have almost completed it over a 2 year period . it will be just as it was new as long as i can keep buffing it out. some treasures need to be cared for when others could not. i took guitar lessons from 6 - 16 and was never allowed to touch his pride and joy and he diddnt ether. now its all mine . and i am 53 ! - tresa48@msn.com - 2010-04-23
I have the same guitar. My grandpa gave it to me when I was 5, on one condition. I was to take care of it. I will be 50 in December and it has always been my pride and joy. From the best man I've ever known, MY GRANDPA!
