I have this exact guitar, in this exact shape. Great pic! Inside the F hole you can see what looks to be a string of 9 numbers, the last four are all I can make out - 1215, as well as a stamp "F67-70 Made in USA" just below that. Got mine from my grandmother's house after the estate sale, it apparently belonged to an uncle who never wound up learning to play it and as grandmothers do, she wrapped it up in a plastic bag and kept it for over 30 years. Hope some of this info is helpful to someone. - geetarman - 2009-02-13
I own this model, pick guard missing (anyone got one?). I bought it for it's unique sound. While I could get a louder sound with big strings I chose to use a light set (11-54) to save the baseball bat sized neck. I don't know if this version had a steel reinforced neck or not, anyone know? These are available cheap on Ebay ($99-300)& worth keeping for practice or in my case pracrice & stage work. These babies rock for finger pickin. Happy geetarin! - 3-tone - 2009-06-10
I just picked up this model in very nice condition with the pickguard intact at a pawn shop for $30 It has 7992H1218 inked inside. The model year is 1969 It needs fret polishing and the nut re-glued. It looks like it's been in a closet for all these years.
