H1306 - Cremona VI
Acoustic archtop - Brown sunburst
Production year(s) : 1935-1951 (other years possible, not verified)
Engraved tortoise celluloid headpiece. Carved spruce top, maple back and sides. It looks like older models had abalone bindings on body, narrower headstock, split block fretmarkers. Some (1935) were produced with gray perloid fretboard and headstock (as was the H1305). During wartime they had wooden pickguard and tailpiece, and downgraded tuners, because of the lack of metal at the time.

I acquired a 1948 H1306 and had the pleasure of restoring it. In the process realized that the tone bars were not glued in, but carved in to the top. Its a pleasure to work on a instrument that some one took such care in building. The war had to have been just ending or just over when it was built. The guitar is a pleasure to hear and play. - Nick Stodola - 2010-01-02
Very stable guitar in terms of how it was put together. It'll be around for another 50 years I'm sure. Not much sustain because of the thick top, sides and back. I improved it by installing a Bigsby metal bridge. - Michael Perkins - 2019-01-23

Had to replace the wooden tailpiece as it dried out and cracked and would no longer hold the stringsThe metal tailpiece improved the sound. I replaced the tuners with new period correct ones from Stew-Mac.
