I found one of these broken in a guitar shop about 10 years ago. After a truss rod replacement and fret dressing, this has become the only guitar I will never part with. I copy this neck for custom guitars that I build. Wow!

I just found one of these models, complete with all nickel hardware, it was pretty beat up and modified with a pick-up. A real hack job. Brought it to Springmeyers in Oakville, CT for resurrecting. Hope to patch up all holes and get back to original. The neck had been sawed off at the heal, lost hope then, but Gary was able to reglue and dowel it back on straight. Had to drop neck about 3/16" closer to the body because of the way it was sawed off. She's not much of a looker, but that's what I like about her, hope she play's well

I found mine online at Top Shelf Music in Buffalo New York back in 2002. It is perfectly set up, no issues, early sans-truss rod model, brass frets, clean, absolutely classic. I am a lucky guy, plays and sounds sweet all the time. You can play just about any acoustic music on this puppy.

found one last week in an auction and having the neck reset as it has come loose (sounds like a normal occurance) , nothing is broken and she is all there right down to the pick guard and tuners
something about steam and dovetails (will get her back in a few months) can hardly wait

I just got one of these off ebay about 6 months ago had the neck reset and some other pieces parts reglued. I absolutely love this guitar and will never part with it. I have wanted an old archtop for a long time. I had an Epiphone Blackstone from a friend but he let that one get away. Im still pissed about that.

I recently got a Harmony H1311 from a lutherie school , I had the hardware already , the neck is one the easiest & most comfortable archtop guitar necks I've played sounds crisp , plenty of volume , great guitar!

Got mine as a gift.....it's magic

I just picked one of these up very good condition missing the pick guard. I think it's before 1956 there is no truss rod cover on the headstock. I knew the name Harmony and that was all. I didn't know the value so I took a chance. I gave 75.00 dollars for it.

Looking for a pick guard for a Harmony H1311,
    Great guitar

    Great guitar!
I was asked to see if a 1311 guitar could be fixed. The guitars neck was strong enough to withstand years without strings. This was a toy for children in the family, it was an air guitar for Elvis shows.
So after we replaced the nut, replaced the trapeze, hand carved in a bridge, replacing all the tuners it actually was a very nice playing guitar.
Impressively built to hold up, and bright sounding with nice volume.
It’s now a fourth generation family heirloom that looks very loved! It will be around and treated respectfully for years to come...
    Saved another one!

Just ran across one of these while working for an elderly lady....said she had an old guitar that belonged to a friend's husband who had passed. It's a Cremona 1302, manufactured Jan. 4, 1954. She wants to know what it's worth.

I found one on line many years ago, at a reasonable price, under $500. An early 60's with the modern scroll Harmony on a black headstock. I like the earlier headstock with the Florentine emblem, but hey, this guitar is pristine. Almost mint condition, tobacco burst, and plays like a dream. I can't even tell you how old the strings are, because I've changed them, but they still sound great. seriously. And yes, they will get changed, probably soon. I have too many guitars (I know, you can never have too many) but this is one i will not part with. Someday I'd like to find a blond, with the older Headstock, but for now....I'm a happy guy.
