Airline 7252 - 2 pickup (Rocket)
Electric hollowbody - Redburst - Distributed by Montgomery Wards - Based on Harmony H54
Production year(s) : 1965 (other years possible, not verified)
Equiped with the typical Airline "diamond" version of the DeArmond pickups. A very close model was numbered 7282 the next year (1966), the only difference being the headstock shape.

Bought this guitar from Wards in '64. We have played Hootenannys, Sit-ins, Protests, Country, Rock, Soul, Gospel and Bluegrass. This guitar is the best ever! Thanks! - Bill Rhude - 2009-12-25
This was my first electric guitar. Bought it new from MW, played may early gigs with it. Would love to have another. Hey, mail me if you know of one william@nycap.rr.com - David Qualls - 2010-02-08
I have one. It was my father's first guitar. The pick guard is broken and was finally lost. The Airline logo has been rubbed off the head. The cardboard case fell apart many years ago. I hate the fat neck, but kept the guitar for a keepsake. I also have the original Airline tube amplifier that my dad bought at MW with his Airline guitar. Knobs have been replaced, and it's a little rough looking, but it still works.
