Classic "Stella" design, all birch construction. Replace the previous Airline 7026 model. Floating bridge, metal tailpiece. Painted pickguard design, with a different style in later years.

  my dad has one and we think inside it's stamped S66. so i believe they're older than 68.

  yes they were older I have one for my daughter and the neck is styled like the 7076 but has the steel peice like like the 7026. Also like the other guy said his says 66 mine say's S-65 so it makes sense these are the production dates
