I'm glad to know (finally) that my guitar is definitely a Harmony ! I bought mine at a local guitar shop for $60 and spent another $60 to get a new pickguard and bracket professionally installed (they were both missing). My full serial number is 3313H1060, so if you could leave a comment as to maybe what year this was made that'd be wonderful. BTW, your guitar is in exceptionally great condition, mine's a little more worn in (not in a bad way though). Take good care of it, cause so far I've only seen 2 like this.

I've got one that almost the same h1215. Cool Guitar!

I believe this is the same model as the guitar my (now) wife bought at an Estate Sale in 1991 for $2 (yes, $2). I replaced the tuners & slid the tailpiece about where intonation was good & it's great! I recently had it professionally set up (to the best of his ability, since there's no truss rod to adjust). The neck is amazinly straight. High up the neck it frets out, but why play that high on an old box like this! Damn...the thing is older than my Dad!

Hey me and my bud who play just came across a kinda worn 1943 Model 1060 full s/n: 4175h1060 it looks very promising!

Finally found the F42 mark in my guitar, I was peering inside with an LED flashlight and finally found the very faint marking. By the way, get you a decent guitar polish (i/e Dr. Stringfellow) and these old harmonies look even better than they do when they're "attic fresh".

    I have a Harmony H1060 Marked F42 S# 3341H1060
It has a Very nice straight V shape neck. All original tuners-pickguard-bridge and tailpiece. Has some damage on the bottom but still plays excellent and sounds good.

Just got a 1943 model of the H1060 (S43) Excellent condition for a 68 year old guitar. One small hole where someone tried to install a strap button. Wooden tailpiece screwed to body. Orpheus brand name on headstock. Three on a plate tuners made of very thin metal due to WWII shortages.

suprised to find out this was originally an acoustic. Mine was made in '43 and has a p13 pickup in the neck position. Super thick, bluesy slide tones. I think whoever had this before me had the same thing in mind.

Picked mine up in Olympia Washington for $250
Best playing Harmony that I have seen.
The action on it is low, fast and very smooth.
The man who set this H1060 up deserves a gold star and a cookie.

Been searching all afternoon for infos. My grandpa had this guitar and played when my dad was a lil kid.My father is 62 now.Grandpa always telled me he would let me his guitar when he'll be gone. So,i had it in 1992.Today,my lil 6 years old asked me if she could see it,and maybe touch it...Hahahaaa.....Sure you can!!!.
