I have one too. I bought a hard plastic case for gun with "i don't know the word in english" sort of synthetic foam inside. It's perfect. Hope it helps.

I have two H1 lap steels and I love 'em both. I'm looking for a soap bar style pickup for one of my lap steels because the one I have doesn't seem to track all of the strings equally.
Also looking for the "Harmony" decal for same axe.
    Thanks for reading.

I recently bought one of these on eBay. I was disappointed with the unexpectedly thin sound, but decided that this was due to the large gap between the pickup and the strings. I temporarily shimmed up the pickup with two thicknesses of corrugated cardboard as a trial, and the sound was transformed - much deeper and louder, with tons of bass if you want it. This is the same pickup as used on the early Stratotones, so it should be OK! I'll customise a plastic mount to replace the cardboard. Otherwise, it's a nice playable budget lapper. As regards a case, a generic lapsteel gigbag is available at modest price - do a search on eBay.
