Narrow neck 12 string. The 1969 catalog says "CAUTION : It is best not to tune a 12-string guitar as high as regular 6-string guitar pitch. Experienced players recommend tuning three or four half-tones lower, to avoid strain wich might pull up the guitar top or bow the neck".

I have one like this I traded for in 1970. Still plays and sounds great. - Ron Kerr - 2015-01-10
Mine has Fender carved into tortoise shell headstock and what could be a stylised H as well. It has no serial number, has Fender(F)tuning keys. I bought it in 1975 believing it was made in 1964. Pick guard is screwed on 5,screws. I have been looking for information for years. Thank you for this site. - Ron Kerr - 2015-01-10
Whoops.. Mine is closer to 1270 model with closed head stock as above. 18 frets.. Found faded serial number inside where neck meets body 9971? 070. I use normal tuning, neck has not budged and sound is full. - - 2024-09-17
I need a bridge for this type of harmony. It is a 12 string with the tailpiece!
