This guitar is sweet! The size makes it really easy and comfortable to play and it still sounds great.
The one I have still has it's pick guard and there is a pickup set (still functional - sounds terrific). - - 2014-06-14
I just inherited an H989 made in 1941, it looks just like the picture shown except the top has seen alot of use so it looks a bit darker. My Great Uncle purchased it brand new in the fall of 1941 and has played it everyday until January of this year.
