Nickeled tailpiece, floating bridge - Body shape changed from the rounded shape to the later "grand concert" shape in 1957. A "warm red" shaded finish replaced the older brown shaded in 1959. Painted on fret markers, snowflake on early models, then rectangles from 1959. Was then replaced in 1967 by the H941 with a pin type bridge.

H162 - 1940-1971 - Acoustic flatop - Natural Spruce or Cedar top - Mahogany version is H165 - older models (before ca. 57') had a different, more rounded "figure eight" body, and a "pinless" bridge. Very early models (before 1942) were sold among the "Master" line, as evidenced by the headstock logo - A very popular model, with at least 30 years of production time !

Harmony "est. 1892" 1016 - Buck Owens reissue - 2000 (approx) - Acoustic flatop - Red, white, blue Reissue in years 2000 of the "Buck Owens" model sold by Sears & Roebucjk catalog in 1970 (See model 3219 under the Silvertone brand). Apart from the color scheme, this reissue is very different, and doesn't wear the Buck Owens name on the head, where you can read "Harmony Sovereign", without the usual "est 1892" specific to asian made guitar. This was proposed by the "MBT International" company.

Regal R6382 - Harmony Regal Deluxe - 1972-1973 - Acoustic flatop - Natural Please check H6382 in the Harmony section. This model is a Harmony guitar, sold through the Harmony catalog, wearing the Regal name on the headstock. Harmony used the Regal name for some models in 1972-1973. It's comparable to the H1203 Sovereign, but with a pin type bridge and the new narrower fretboard/neck.

Silvertone 3219 - Buck Owens American - 1970-1971 - Acoustic flatop - red, white, blue This guitar was sold $82.95 in 1971 Sears catalog. Red, white and blue "American Guitar"- "Grand Concert" size - stamped H169 inside. Similar in construction to H164 Harmony model, spruce top and birch body. There was a modern (2005) asian-made re-issue, but very different. The original Buck Owens guitar, as seen in "Hee Haw" TV show, was built by Semie Moseley of Mosrite guitars, if we believe the Buck Owens website.
