Guitars shown below were made by Harmony and sold under the Barclay brand. It doesn't mean that all Barclay guitars were made by Harmony.

Barclay guitar

Barclay guitars were stamped with a "-3" suffix added to the Harmony equivalent model number (verified on H1203-3 and H74-3 Barclay models)

  • Electric hollowbody
    • H74-3 (1967) - Thin line - Electric hollowbody - images 18
      This barclay model is stamped H74-3 inside, but, with its "real" double cutaway, and its "W type" vibrato, is very different from the H74 Harmony model. Two "mustache" type DeArmond pickups, with adjustable polepieces. Fender-style headstock.
    • H53-3 (1967) - Thin line - Electric hollowbody - Redburst - images 15
      Very close to the Harmony Rocket H53, with one "mustache" DeArmond pickup, single cutaway, neck with trussrod - (based on Harmony H53)
  • Electric solid body
    • H14 - Bobkat one pickup - Electric solid body - Redburst - images 5
      (based on Harmony H14)
    • H15V (1967) - Bobkat 2 pickup - Electric solid body - Metallic red - images 9
      (based on Harmony H15V)
  • Acoustic archtop
    • H1218 (1969) - Archtop - Acoustic archtop - redburst with faux flame - images 30
      Close to the common Harmony H950 "Monterey leader". All birch construction, celluloid (non painted) bindings on body. - (based on Harmony H950)
  • Acoustic flatop
    • H912-3 - 12 String - Acoustic flatop - shaded burst - images 5
      Very close tho the Harmony Stella H912 12 string guitar. As seen on other Barclay models, they were stamped with a -3 suffix : H912-3 - (based on Harmony H912)
    • H1143-3 - Birch flat top - Acoustic flatop - Redburst - images 31
      All birch construction. One sample is seen with a H942 stamp. - (based on Harmony H1143)
    • H1203-3 - Sovereign - Acoustic flatop - Sunburst - images 9
      (based on Harmony H1203)
    • H162-3 - Spruce flatop - Acoustic flatop - Natural - images 13
      Very close to the common Harmony H162 model. Spruce top, mahogany sides and back, all solid woods. Like other Barclay models, was stamped with a -3 suffix, H162/3 - (based on Harmony H162)
    • H929 (1964-1966) - (Stella) - Acoustic flatop - Redburst with faux flame - images 28
      All birch construction - (based on Harmony H929)
    • H1143 (1969-1970) - Birch flat top - Acoustic flatop - Redburst - images 12
      All birch construction - (based on Harmony H941)
  • Bass
    • Bass two pickup - - Bass - Orange copper - images 5
      Two pickups - No identical model in the Harmony line. Compare to Harmony basses H425, H426
    • Bass one pickup - - Bass - images 4
