H57 - Roy Smeck (1960-1962) - Electric Archtop - Sunburst
One P13 pickup - H57 has replaced both the H56 blue Roy Smeck and the H52 in the Harmony line. But has a solid spruce top, thin body (2 3/4), auditorium size (15 3/4) - trussrod neck. H58 is the two pickups version with blonde laminated top.
H58 - Roy Smeck (1958-1962) - Electric Archtop - Natural and black body
2 "tone emphasizer" pickups. Adjustable individual polepieces on models from ca. 1959. Auditorium size, trussrod, white pickguard, thin body (2.75 depth). Laminated spruce top, birch body.
H7 - Roy Smeck lapsteel (1955-1971) - Lapsteel - Black and ivory
Lapsteel on three chromed legs (optional and no legs on ealier models) - polished black and ivory finish. "Tone-Emphasizer" (P13) pickup on earlier years, then "Golden-Tone Indox" pickup later on same model.
H73 - Roy Smeck (1964-1967) - Electric hollowbody - Red
Roy Smeck version of the H74 "half-cutaway" or "neo-cutaway" shape, but with a lower grade body, simple bindings and painted wood. Late models have different pickups with larger housing and black rings. If you buy one from photos, beware that the red appears darker in real life than what we usually see on photos.
